DLP Planning acquires Matrix Transport Planning

DLP Planning Ltd has completed the acquisition of Matrix Transport and Infrastructure Consultants (Matrix TP).

The company is establishing a new team within DLP – The Sustainable Development and Delivery Team (SDD). It will offer a range of services including: masterplanning, transportation planning, travel planning, sustainability assessment and infrastructure mapping, flood risk assessment, environmental impact appraisal and viability assessment.

David Baber will lead the new team of principals for each of the service areas. The company says a number of new appointments are being made in conjunction with an expansion of the practice overall.

Simon James, MD of DLP, said: “We have worked closely with David and his team on a number of projects and this new addition to our services will enable DLP to provide a more focussed integrated approach to promoting and delivering sustainable development on behalf of our many clients”.
