DWF, an integrated legal business services provider, has appointed a partner and legal director to its real estate team in Leeds.
Andrew Batterton joins as partner from DLA Piper to lead the planning team in the UK, working with Michelle Spark and the national team.
Batterton has more than 20 years of experience in regeneration, transport and energy projects. He is also involved with sustainability, including the promotion of projects and initiatives to achieve international carbon zero projects.
Naithan McBride will join as a legal director from DLA Piper in the global construction team in June.
McBride is a construction disputes lawyer providing both operational and dispute resolution advice to clients with a focus on dispute avoidance and managing project risk. He advises contractors and specialist subcontractors and employers in the public and private sectors.
