Ecological Planning & Research (EPR) has announced two promotions to its business.

Ben Kite is appointed group strategy director. He has been managing director since 2016, recently completing his second term.

Kite’s new position will see him maintain project work with clients, business development of a new fish protection screen for water abstraction points and technology for remote monitoring of ecological and environmental features and cloud data analysis.

Alison Hogan becomes MD for the forthcoming three years, having previously been director and principal ecological consultant.

Hogan has been a member of the EPR team for the past 20 years and has undertaken numerous Ecological Impact Assessments, and designed and implemented ecological mitigation for many large-scale infrastructure projects such as the Harlow New Town proposals for 10,000 new dwellings.

Kite said: “I am excited to address the challenges and opportunities presented by my next chapter at EPR, working with the board and wider team to deliver the highest standards of work centred around the principles of intelligence, expertise, innovation, and integrity.”
