Fife Council hires place director 

Fife Council has appointed Carol Connolly as executive director of place to lead the current enterprise and environment directorate.

Connolly is currently divisional director of development and sustainability at Glasgow City Council and will start her new role in December.

Her new role involves developing strategies and policies to create sustainable and thriving communities across Fife. 

Connolly has almost 30 years of experience in local government. She started her career as a youth worker, holding various roles in children and family services, before moving into lead roles in community safety.
