Fisher appoints associate director in Bedford
Fisher German has appointed Juliet Richardson as associate director in its Bedford office.
Richardson has experience in the full cycle of development and planning, including local plan representations, development and site appraisals, planning applications and appeals.
She has acted on behalf of a broad range of clients including landowners, developers and public bodies. She has “considerable” experience in working on new towns and urban extensions including the new settlements of Cambourn, Northstowe and Waterbeach in Cambridgeshire.
Richardson said: “Planning is a discipline which is constantly changing and evolving which makes it an extremely exciting area to work in.
“It will be interesting to see how the latest government planning reforms unfold, and how Covid-19 will impact land use planning, such as public health and the importance of having access to outdoor space.
“There has also been an increase remote working, and we will soon begin to see if more people consider rural or lower density lifestyles over city centres.”
