Hashi Mohamed | Landmark Chambers [square]Planning and environment barrister Hashi Mohamed has become a member of Landmark Chambers, joining the planning and environment groups.

He will take up his practice at Landmark in late September following a period of paternity leave.

Mohamed undertakes all aspects of planning and environmental work, with a focus on major development, infrastructure, enforcement and compulsory purchase work.

He represents many leading housebuilders and SMEs, as well local planning authorities and community groups.

His work means he attends hearings, inquiries, local plan examinations and appears in the High Court and Court of Appeal regularly.

Mohamed has published two books: People Like Us: What it Takes to Make It in Modern Britain (2020) and A Home of One's Own: Why the Housing Crisis Matters(2022).

He commented: "I am extremely excited to be joining Landmark Chambers at a pivotal moment for my career. I am joining a community I know well, with members I have mostly known as opponents and now have the pleasure of calling colleagues. I very much look forward to being a part of their collegiate world and to learning and growing at the best set for planning and environment law. Nothing will change when it comes to the quality of service provided, and to my loyal clients (and soon to be new clients) - normal services will resume in September."

Mohamed moves from No5 Barristers' Chambers.
