Heritage associate appointed to Historic England committee

Narita C [square]Nairita Chakraborty has been appointed to Historic England’s Advisory Committee.

Chakraborty, who has RTPI and IHBC accreditation, is a heritage associate at Iceni Projects. 

She joined the firm's heritage and townscape team earlier this year, having previously worked in various local authorities for over 12 years, including Hillingdon and Haringey in London.

Her experience ranges from adaptation and conversion of large and complex listed buildings, providing detailed advice on works to their historic fabric, to heritage-led regeneration schemes, master planning and strategic housing and infrastructure projects within sensitive historic landscapes.

Chakraborty said: “Being appointed to Historic England’s Advisory Committee  alongside such esteemed industry experts is a real honour and privilege.”
