Lichfields has appointed Alan Hughes associate director in London.
Hughes rejoins the planning and development consultancy after a five-year break. He joined Lichfields in 2011 as a graduate planner, progressing to senior planner before joining DP9 in 2015.
He will focus on regeneration projects, mixed-use, residential and commercial planning work in the capital and South East.
Hughes will assist on the delivery of the £8.4 billion Greenwich Peninsula project for Knight Dragon.
He said: “There continues to be a real focus here on helping deliver great places, with Greenwich Peninsula a perfect example of that.
“I’m looking forward to working with new and existing clients, principally in the residential and commercial markets, across the London boroughs and wider South East.”
