Lewis Knight joins Stonewood

Stonewood Group has appointed Lewis Knight as principal planner.

He will be working with land director James Petherick, who joined the company towards the end of 2020, and planning manager Holly Simkiss to identify new residential development sites across the South West and helping to manage planning applications.

Knight previously worked at JLL in Bristol for six years as an associate in the South West planning and development team. He worked on the Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus and helped lead on proposals for a redevelopment scheme at Bramshill Park, a grade I listed Jacobean mansion.

He said: “I jumped at the opportunity to join Stonewood Partnerships. Having worked with Stonewood as a consultant, I was fully aware of the great team they had assembled to deliver high quality residential developments. Delivering residential developments that are designed to the highest standards and contribute to the places and communities they are located within, is an ambition I wholeheartedly share.”

Stonewood Group has also appointed Stephen King as finance director and Sarah Turner as the head of communications.
