Lichfields announces two London hires

Planning and development consultancy Lichfields has announced two specialist appointments at its London office.
Neil Purvis has been appointed EIA (environmental impact assessment) associate director, bringing more than six years of experience and expertise in environmental planning to the role.
Purvis was previously at Barton Willmore (now Stantec), and covers mixed-use, residential, urban regeneration and renewable energy projects.
Peter Layfield, who is completing an historic environment advice assistant apprenticeship, joins the team as a heritage consultant following time at Historic England, where he worked in its policy development team.
