Lichfields appoints non-executive board member

Planning and development consultancy Lichfields has appointed Kay Chaldecott as a non-executive director to its board.

Chaldecott is a board member of New River Reit PLC and St Modwen Properties PLC.

She is also a former managing director of Capital Shopping Centres PLC, now known as Intu Properties PLC.

Chaldecott is a chartered surveyor with over 30 years of experience in the property industry.

Lichfields’ chairman Justin Gartland, said: “Kay’s property knowledge, expertise  and non-executive experience will help drive our business strategy forward and grow the business further in the future.

“Kay will bring insight and knowledge to help us realise the potential of new markets and expand our services.”

She will join fellow non-executive directors Robert Warner and Geoffrey Smith alongside senior Lichfields staff on the board.

In February 2017, Lichfields changed its trading name from Nathaniel Lichfields & Partners.
