Neil M [square]Planning consultancy LUC has launched its transport and movement planning service.

Neil McAlpine, director of transport and movement planning, and Graeme Low, associate transport and movement planner will lead the team.

The service will focus on the low carbon agenda and promoting active and sustainable transport modes across its client base.

LUC said the service will integrate fully with its existing mix of disciplines, supporting clients with the net zero carbon agenda and developing spaces that meet the needs of all transport users.

McAlpine commented: “For too long, the private vehicle has dominated the transport agenda. The switch to low carbon transport, alongside managing the need to travel, is a vital element to future planning and design challenges.

“This, together with detailed knowledge of rapidly changing technologies, will be a key component of the advice our transport and movement planning team will provide LUC’s clients.”
