Ramboll appoints transport planning head

Johnny Ojeil [square]Global engineering consultancy Ramboll has appointed Johnny Ojeil as head of transport planning. 
 
Ojeil joins from Arup and brings “extensive” experience in transport and infrastructure planning, public transport, traffic engineering/planning and highway engineering.

He has worked both in the UK and overseas on major multi-modal studies including masterplanning for numerous authorities and developers in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the Far East.
 
He most recently worked on the Commonwealth Games as project director responsible for delivery of projects related to accessibility planning and modelling work. 
 
Ojeil said: “I am delighted to be taking on the UK Transport Planning lead role at Ramboll. The organisation has a lot of UK and international in smart mobility and transport planning, and I am looking forward to expanding Ramboll’s UK capabilities and team in an environment that has a strong focus on people”.
