Richborough Estates appoints design director

Charlotte Lewis / Press release [square]Land promoter Richborough Estates has appointed Charlotte Lewis, an architect and urban designer, as its consultant design director. 

Lewis joins the company on an exclusive secondment from consultancy Baily Garner. She has 17 years of experience in residential design, regeneration and masterplanning.

Her role will involve working on the design aspect of strategic projects to create sustainable schemes which reinforce local character.

Co-managing director Karl Parkinson-Witte said: “As an experienced design director with a track record of securing planning consents, Charlotte will be a key player in ensuring our schemes are high quality”.

Lewis said of her approach: “I try and take a balanced approach to all aspects of design. It’s key that the scheme harmonises with the site and its surroundings”.
