Bidwells has appointed Georgina Pickett at its Cambridge office.
She joins as a senior planner and will work for both the planning and heritage teams.
Pickett’s specialist area is heritage and she has growing experience in the private sector, working across a wide range of projects, including development in the green belt.
She has been involved with a number of restorations and change of use projects, including a Grade I Registered Park and garden and development within the curtilage of listed buildings.
Pickett previously worked at JB Planning Associates.
Marcia Whitehead, team leader, said: "Georgina is an experienced planner with a breadth of knowledge across many key areas. We are certain she is going to become an important part of our team at Bidwells."
Bidwell’s heritage team was launched last year and is part of the planning division.
