Senior planner recruited at Leicester firm

Leicester-based planning firm Marrons Planning has appointed Lizzie Beresford as a senior planner to help meet growing demand for strategic planning advice in the region.

Beresford was previously part of both the development strategy and development management teams at Rugby Borough Council.

At the council, she gained experience across a range of development management and strategic planning work, including conservation and heritage considerations, enforcement work and processing planning applications. 

Beresford will be based at the Leicester Meridian office of the firm, which also has planning consultants working in Nottingham, Birmingham, Stratford and London. Marrons Planning is a specialist planning consultancy which forms part of law firm Shakespeare Martineau.
