Shakespeare Martineau appoints two planning leads 

Law firm Shakespeare Martineau has appointed specialist planning solicitors Paul Wakefield and Anna Cartledge to lead its legal planning team.

Wakefield and Cartledge bring more than 40 years of combined experience and will lead plans to grow the team of 11. 

They take over from Simon Stanion who retired from the partnership at the end of April, moving into a consultancy role with the firm.

Wakefield joined the law firm in 2004 as a trainee solicitor in Leicester, working his way up to partner and is now based in Nottingham. 

Cartledge joined the Birmingham office in 2021 having practised in the city for more than 20 years.
