Stantec announces intention to acquire Barton Willmore

Town planning / iStock [square]Engineering and design firm Stantec has announced its intention to acquire planning consultancy Barton Willmore. 

The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Barton Willmore was founded in 1936. It has more than 300 town planners, masterplanners, urban and landscape designers, architects, and environmental planners employed across the country. Headquartered in Reading, the consultancy has has offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Kings Hill, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Southampton.
