TfN announces two new directors 

Transport for the North (TfN) has appointed two new directors to lead the organisation going forward.

Katie Day has been appointed strategy, policy and communications director and joins on February 2023. Day is currently director of policy and communications Office for Nuclear Regulation.
 
She has more than 20 years of experience working in public bodies and central government including the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and at the former Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).

Paul Kelly joins as finance director on 14 December and is currently interim finance director at TfN. Kelly has over 25 years of experience in commercial, financial and operational services within public and private entities. He joined in 2018 from Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) where he was head of financial and commercial for Metrolink.
