1 SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Location: Civic Centre, Stoke on Trent
The job: “The postholder will be responsible for building strong relationships with all infrastructure providers to understand their needs, and then ensuring this is reflected within the Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP).
“The role will also identify requirements for planning obligations and oversee, manage, and monitor the income or financial and non-financial obligations ensuring these are in line with the projects identified in the IDP.”
2 PRINCIPAL PLANNING OFFICER
Location: Civic Centre, Enfield, London
The job: “Working as part of the Planning Decisions Team you will lead a range of development schemes, maintaining and improving planning performance and provide an excellent customer experience. This is a key role and offers an opportunity to develop your planning knowledge and experience in a busy planning environment. You will deal with predominantly major planning applications, including industrial, retail, business, residential, green belt and heritage reflecting the diverse composition and varied development opportunities the borough offers. You will have delegated authority and be responsible, with other planning managers within the team, for the determination of a range of planning applications. A thorough understanding of development management and associated planning legislation will be essential but further training opportunities will be available to enhance your skills and experience

3 PRINCIPAL PLANNING OFFICER
Location: Honiton/Exmouth
The job: “First and foremost, you will have a postgraduate Planning qualification and significant experience of development management, along with RTPI membership. You will combine an up-to-date knowledge of the planning system with first-class leadership and communication skills and bring a track record of coaching people, building relationships and working collaboratively to deliver effective services. Influential, organised and credible, you’re someone who thrives on challenge, consistently delivers great results and makes things happen rather than waiting for chances to come. You will also need a driving licence and be able to travel as required (reasonable adjustments may be possible according to the Equality Act).”
4 PLANNING OFFICER
Location: Helmsley, North Yorkshire.
The job: “As a Planning Officer, you will manage a caseload of planning applications and development proposals, ensuring a high-quality and efficient service.
“Supporting the delivery of the Development Management Service, you will conduct site inspections, and engage in negotiations with applicants, agents, and specialist staff to facilitate the planning process.
“Under the supervision of the Development Management Team Leader, you will prepare detailed reports and recommendations, and present items to the Planning Committee. You will also assist in preparing statements for planning appeals, including those dealt with by written representations.”
5 SENIOR PLANNING OFFICER
Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
The job: “Your main responsibility will be to manage and determine more complex planning applications, but from time to time you will also help our planning enforcement and planning policy teams. You will demonstrate the ability to work as part of our friendly and committed team of planners and support staff, have extensive experience of dealing with a variety of complex planning issues (preferably in a local authority environment), be an excellent communicator and show a clear commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
