2. HEAD OF PLANNING, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND CLIMATE CHANGE, HERTSMERE BOROUGH COUNCIL

Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire

Salary: Up to £91,233

The job: "As our head of planning, economic development, and climate change, you will have the unique opportunity to act in an ambassadorial role for the council, liaising with our private sector partners, Hertfordshire Futures, County Council and other local authorities to maximise growth opportunities and inward investment into our area. You’ll also be making positive and proactive contributions to the development of cross county policies within planning and economic development, including the exciting opportunity to work with the South West Hertfordshire Group and Hertfordshire County Council to deliver a new joint strategic plan."

3. SENIOR PLANNING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER, FOREST OF DEAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

Location: Coleford, Gloucestershire

Salary: £38,850 - £41,950

"As the principal planning officer, you will take a lead role in policy formulation and stakeholder engagement for minerals and waste planning, including preparation of the minerals and waste plan. This will include responsibility for co-ordinating and managing projects that ensure an evidence-led approach is taken to policy and plan-making, meeting the need for minerals and waste management capacity across the county, balancing economic development with environmental and community interests. 

"The level 2 planning policy officer will support the preparation, monitoring and review of minerals and waste polices and the supporting evidence base, including effective data collection and reporting of mineral reserves and waste capacity and requirements."
