Three ambassadors announced for Right to Build Task Force

The National Custom and Self Build Association (NaCSBA) has announced three new ambassadors for its Right to Build Task Force, which aims to ‘boost and integrate custom and self build housing across the UK’.

NaCSBA founder Ted Stevens OBE, Teignbridge councillor Jeremy Christophers, and Cherwell councillor Barry Wood will join Richard Bacon, the MP for South Norfolk, as ambassadors.

Stevens was awarded an OBE in 2014 for his work in developing the self build sector, and is well connected within government.

Christophers and Wood are leaders of their respective councils, both of which were designated right to build “vanguard authorities”.

Mario Wolf, Task Force director, said: “In Jeremy, Barry and Ted we have an excellent trio of leaders to champion our work, and I look forward to working with them”.

NaCSBA chair Michael Holmes added: “I am delighted that we have secured such high calibre and enthusiastic ambassadors”.
