Tibbalds appoints senior policy planner to their team

Richard [square]Tibbalds Planning and Urban Design has appointed policy planner Richard Crutchley to its team as an associate.

Crutchley has previously held roles as a principal planner, at the London Borough of Camden, where he was the lead planner preparing and consulting upon the Gospel Oak strategic framework. He also worked at the London Borough of Hounslow, where he undertook a green belt review, and prepared the issues paper for the West of the Borough Plan, completing the process to adoption of the borough's local plan.

At Tibbalds, he will strengthen the practice’s capability in planning policy and strategies, neighbourhood planning, design guidance, design advice and area based regeneration.

Hilary Satchwell, director of Tibbalds, said: “Richard has the high level of expertise in regeneration, design and masterplanning that we expect from our team. He also has a strong background in housing and housing policy, and his public sector experience will be a helpful addition for clients navigating the public sector decision making process.”
