WSP expands planning and advisory team

WSP has appointed Paj Valley director of masterplanning. He has over 25 years of experience in masterplanning,

On his appointment Valley said: “I am really excited about working with WSP and assisting the organisation to develop even stronger links within both the public and private development sectors.”

Gillian Risdale has taken up the role of regional director in the South West and Wales in highways at WSP, bringing with her 12 years of experience at Highways England.

Paul Aitken joins WSP as highways senior engineer and team leader from Scottish Borders Council.

Mark Kelly joins WSP as technical director for the fire engineering team. Kelly will support WSP’s existing projects and look to attract new business for the team.

Adam Alexander moves up from his part-time contractor role at WSP and is the technical director in the mechanical, electrical and plumbing team.

He said: “I’m really excited to join WSP permanently. As part of my role, I’m keen to push forward automation in building engineering, using coding to help increase the efficiency and the quality of what we do.”
