Project management and technical consultancy firm WYG has appointed three new people to its town planning teams.

The company said the appointments have been made in “response to an expanding workload”.

David Butcher joins the Guildford team as an associate director from Persimmon Homes (South Coast) where he was a senior planning manager.

Tom Collins joins the team in Nottingham as an associate director. He joins from Fisher German and has 10 years of planning experience.

Collins will be focussing on residential, commercial and mixed-use developments for the private sector across the East Midlands.

Jake Crompton will join the team in Manchester as a senior planner. He moves from Indigo Planning and has over three years of experience working on residential and commercial projects.

Crompton will largely work on residential projects on behalf of house builders and landowners, as well as public bodies such as the NHS and the Homes and Communities Agency.
