Covering an area of more than 100 square kilometres between Leicester, Burton upon Trent, Derby and Nottingham, North West Leicestershire District Council enjoys and an enviable location in the heart of the beautiful National Forest. Perhaps more importantly, our work supports a population of some 93,000 people. So as well as well as being sensitive to our natural environment, we strive to ensure the district’s people have the chance to shape their local services and the communities in which they live.
