This Local Authority are on the lookout for experienced an Planning Policy professional to join their authority on an initial 3-6 month contract, with the view to extend further.
About the Role
Based in the South East, you will play a significant role in the delivery and review of their Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP).
This will involve taking a lead role in the production of IF road-maps, contributing to the implementation and delivery of their Community Infrastructure Levy and undergoing Local Plan reviews. You will ensure funding and delivery are soundly based through close liaison and consultation with a number of key stakeholders (IF providers, local authorities, parish councils, public bodies, developers etc.).
Whilst MRTPI accreditation is preferred and not essential, the successful candidate will be educated to degree level in Town Planning or a relevant discipline, or hold equivalent working experience.
You will hold Strategic Planning experience within a Local Authority setting, with demonstrable experience within either infrastructure or Section 106/CIL.
