My client is looking for a Planning Officer to work in the busy Development Management team within the local authority.

The majority of the work will be validating applications and processing Householder and Minor applications, using the Uniform IT systems. The Council currently have a back log of cases so they are hoping to hire additional resources to clear the back log as well as working with some new cases.

The Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in planning and will have recent local authority experience. Ideally the candidate will be a MRTPI or eligible for full membership however, this is not essential. This is a great position for anyone wanting to get a bit more development Management experience.
