At this exciting time we are investing in our Planning service in order to deliver our corporate priorities. We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and well organised individual to take up a Senior Enforcement Officer role within the Development Management team.

In this Senior Enforcement Officer role you will lead on investigating complaints relating to alleged breaches of planning control and be expected to proactively tackle complaints to remedy breaches where they have occurred. As such you should have excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. The role will require you to have extensive knowledge and experience of the planning system as well as current planning legislation, policies and procedures. You will be expected to hit the ground running and be able to act on your own initiative, work with minimal supervision, and have the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
