An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Planning and Economic Development Team at Worcester City Council. We are looking to appoint a Planning Officer in the Development Management Team.
Planning Officer - Development Management
We are looking for a talented, self-motivated and enthusiastic Planner who can really make an impact. The successful applicant will be responsible for a varied caseload of applications and related matters, managing and achieving quality planning outcomes and meeting national and local performance targets. You will need good communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the capacity to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the service.
The candidate must be a member of the RTPI or be working towards membership, have a proven record of being responsible for their own caseload of planning applications, including experience of preparing appeal statements and presentation of evidence, be an excellent communicator and be able to cope with pressures and deadlines and appreciate the benefits of team work.
