Salary: £39,609 - £50,132 pa depending on skills and experience
FTE: 1.0 fte working 37 hours per week

The Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences invites applications for a Senior Lecturer in Sustainable Planning to develop, lead and teach the Postgraduate Programme in Sustainable Planning. Applications will be welcomed from those with key experience in the development and leading of postgraduate planning courses and those who can demonstrate professional or research interests within the area of planning and/or a related social science field. Ideally the successful candidate will have gained planning experience within a commercial and/or public sector setting and have a track record of research and/or delivering consultancy services.
In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the well-established Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes in Geography and Environmental Management, undertake supervision of students and contribute to field courses.
The successful candidate will hold a Postgraduate Degree in Planning and will be a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
