The Development Management Service is a busy team which processes a large volume of planning and related applications. This is a key role within the team delivering the service to the residents of the East Riding of Yorkshire.

The work is interesting and varied, dealing with a mixture of planning and related applications, including residential, renewable energy, agriculture and business proposals in a varied rural and urban location.

We are looking for a team player with a positive “can do” attitude qualified to degree standard ideally eligible for entry to become a MRTPI qualified planner. You will be encouraged to positively contribute to the team from the outset. Good quality report writing, excellent customer service skills are essential for this role.

You will be based in the market town of Beverley, a highly desirable place to work and live. This is a beautiful part of the country working for a council which is recognised nationally as one of the best in the country.
