Job Details
We have an opportunity in our small but busy Planning Policy Team for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Senior Planning Officer. Having adopted our Local Plan late last year we have now commenced on an immediate review. We have also taken on responsibility for monitoring of S106 agreements and the successful candidate will be expected to help develop and work on this area. In addition to this, the successful candidate will be involved in the review of the Local Plan, assist with monitoring of the Local Plan and work with local communities in the preparation of Neighbourhood Plans.
This Senior Planning Officer post would suit somebody who has gained some experience and is now looking to expand their knowledge and experience. The successful candidate must be educated to degree level; have good communication skills; be able to work with a wide range of people - both internal and external to the Council; be able to work to tight deadlines and also be able to act as an ambassador for the Council when working with external partners
