Could you drive and deliver high-profile projects that are changing the face of this evolving Borough?
This is an exceptional opportunity to facilitate, lead and deliver significant development and regeneration projects and services within this forward-thinking Council. Your ability to design improvements that focus on what matters to our customers, such as quality developments is also key. Seeing the world through their eyes and creating services, environments and communities that improve their lives.
This high-profile role will see you engage with senior managers and local councillors. Excellent communication and leadership skills are important, together with a ‘can-do’ attitude demonstrating your competence, personable and persuasive qualities with a tenacity to deliver excellent results. You will also have the proven ability to create effective solutions to challenging planning, development and regeneration issues.
We are a small Borough with a big range of projects – ranging from a Garden Village at Welborne through to master planning the Solent Enterprise Zone at Daedalus.
We have produced a Draft Local Plan proposing urban extensions and regeneration sites across the Borough and recently announced our plans to update this to provide additional sites. We are looking for people to progress the Local Plan, as well as developing proposals to meet future development needs.
