Full-time permanent, 37 hours per week, with part-time and flexible working arrangements also available

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive individual with excellent communication and time management skills to join our planning service. This is an exciting time to be joining us with a number of key growth projects underway.

Working with a dedicated team of planners, this role will handle a variety of major and high profile planning applications and will contribute to delivering quality decisions. As with other roles, you will support the wider statutory planning function including contributing to leading projects, service improvements and innovative delivery of services digitally and online.

We are seeking experienced and motivated planning professionals with a wide range of well-developed planning skills and knowledge and a track record in delivery. Applicants should be committed to securing quality sustainable growth, the advancement of the service and the achievement of our key priorities of growth and regeneration.

Melton Mowbray is renowned as the Rural Capital of Food and has string ambitions for growth which promote very significant development opportunities.
