Dealing with a varied caseload of mainly complex work you will need to be an experienced and confident Planner with a proven track record of delivering high quality development, whilst being able to maximise the benefits resulting from new development for existing and future residents of the District.

The successful candidate must be well organised and self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure. You must have excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to ensure our team delivers a high quality service to our customers.  We would expect the successful candidate to have had at least 3 years’ Development Management experience and to be able to demonstrate excellent Planning judgement.
