Associate - Town Planning x2

Opportunity:

A leading Yorkshire consultancy are looking for two Planning Associates to join their team, capitalising on their 2018 growth and further driving the business forwards.

Joining this team of planners, urbanists and architects, you'll be joining at a time of unprecedented growth. Key clients vary from large national developers & housebuilders who are promoting residentially led mixed use schemes, to covering complex planning matters within education, commercial or healthcare industries.

The organisation are known for promoting a very relaxed work atmosphere, with plenty of fun and support, especially if you'd be working in a new region or sector. Coupled with this the directors lead a driven team that's hungry for further success, and as such, they have ambitious targets for growth in place for the next 18 months.

This role would be perfect for a Principal or Associate Planner looking for more long term career opportunities. While you'll receive support from junior members of the team, no line management expertise is required. The bulk of your day will be guiding clients through complex planning matters, applications and appeals. You will be expected to develop new business for the consultancy, helping drive further growth. As such, private sector experience is required for the successful candidate.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Min 7 years' experience post qualification.
• MRTPI
• Some experience gained in the private sector
• Experience in developing business for a planning consultancy, or the foundation expertise to take on a role involving this.
• Car Owner, Full Driving Licence.
