Stakeholder / Engagement Manager

Opportunity:

A leading UK consultancy are looking for a Stakeholder Manager to manage key connections across a major infrastructure project.

The role involves managing different stakeholders at three levels: Select Committees (local govt. & MPs), Commercial (developers & land owners) and Community Liaison. Working closely with the operations team for a major rail upgrade, you'll be responsible for working with highways engineers & train operating companies to ensure relevant road closures, bridge demolitions, and power line installations are being communicated with the appropriate external stakeholders. Examples include delivering workshops for local residents, providing information to councils, or explaining the land acquisition process to land owners.

This roles suits someone with experience in infrastructure, land or planning - you'll need to be a strong communicator and want to engage with communities about potentially contentious developments. Qualifications & Experience:

• Strong and demonstrable experience in managing external stakeholders.
• A background or knowledge of planning, land or infrastructure, ideally with some experience working on large projects.
• Good at communicating to a wide variety of people, and a thick skin!
