We are looking for a new person for our team to help us to conserve and enhance this special landscape. The role involves a good balance of planning and project based work. We want to ask our communities about their relationship to and values of their landscapes. So need someone who is creative, an effective collaborator and communicator as well as a good landscape practitioner.
Job Title: Landscape Adviser
Salary: £30,522 - £36,742 (Band D) plus excellent benefits such as flexitime, generous annual leave and a defined pension scheme to name just a few
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Grantown on Spey
As Landscape Adviser you will provide advice to board members, colleagues and outside organisations on all landscape matters. This can include infrastructure, energy, housing and tourist developments but equally woodland creation, riparian restoration, SUDs, Landscape Special Qualities and LVIAs and the protection of habitats. We work in an integrated way, in a creative environment where landscape, nature conservation, land management and planning overlap. Projects may include community landscape values assessment, landscape restoration and enhancement, historic environment, landscape change monitoring and working on public events.
