Programme Manager, Gosport Heritage Action Zone
Gosport has been designated as a Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) by Historic England, which is a five year programme to help deliver heritage related regeneration projects.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and able programme manager to coordinate the delivery of these exciting heritage related projects. The postholder will need to work closely with the Conservation and Design Manager to develop and deliver the Gosport HAZ Delivery Plan.
You will need to be able to represent the Council in coordinating the delivery of the Gosport HAZ in an assured and professional manner at meetings and public events. The role will include overseeing the delivery of HAZ projects, chairing partnership meetings, and reporting to Historic England on progress with the HAZ initiatives.
You must hold a degree or equivalent qualification in programme or project management, or have demonstrable experience of programme management and project delivery. You will need to have excellent written and verbal skills to be able to communicate effectively with a range of audiences and have a clear interest in the historic environment.
