Senior Town Planner - Policy
Our client is a Local Authority based in South West London and they have a requirement for a Planning Policy Officer to join them for a contract role. You will be expected to contribute towards the development of planning policies in accordance with national policy, regulations and best practice. You will assist the strategic planning and regeneration process by assisting with the formulation, monitoring and review of the Council's planning policies, associated research and carrying out any necessary consultation work
To apply for this role you will need previous experience within a local authority planning policy department. You will need to have a good knowledge of UK town planning guidelines and relevant legislation and an appropriate level of qualification expected to undertake a role of this nature. Experience of preparing and presenting evidence to an examination in public would be beneficial.
This role will pay between £27 - £30p/hr and will initially run for 5 months though it could be extended beyond this. Please get in touch for full details.
