Planner (Strategic Development) for a 24 - month fixed term contract Scale 6 – PO1 £25,327- £36,486 based in Wandsworth.
A couple of exciting opportunities has arisen to work in the Strategic Development Team in the Wandsworth Council Planning and Transport Division which is located at Wandsworth Town Hall. This highly regarded team has a variety of planning work in the Nine Elms Opportunity Area, including Battersea Power Station, the new United States Embassy and the extension to the Northern Line underground. Other large-scale sites that are handled by the Strategic Development Team are York Road/Winstanley at Clapham Junction and the Alton/Roehampton Estate Regeneration schemes.
This position would suit planners with some experience who have a sound approach to problem solving, understands the importance of relationships with stakeholders and it would provide the potential to advance their career.
