A fantastic planning enforcement job has become available in one of Nottinghamshire's largest and most rural boroughs.
This opportunity will give you the chance to work either part time or full time in a small enforcement team focused on tackling a wide range of enforcement breaches. Generally, you will encounter enforcement breaches such as residential breaches, rural breaches, unauthorised development, unauthorised alteration to listed buildings and S215 etc.
Main Duties will include:
- Attending site visits
- Managing appeals
- Liaison with development management teams and colleagues
- Drafting witness statements
- Dealing with telephone inquiries from members of the public
- Investigating a wide variety of planning breaches
Successful candidates will have acquired practical experience as a Planning Enforcement Officer at a UK planning authority.
In addition, you will have a thorough knowledge of Town Planning legislation and Enforcement procedures.
