Planning Apprentice

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Social Sciences, Geography or Planning undergraduate?  Are you looking to work within Planning while you complete a Master’s degree?

Turley is offering an exciting opportunity for a Planning Apprentice to join each of our teams in Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham.  As an Apprentice at Turley you will work towards a Master’s degree in Planning with an RTPI accredited local university, whilst gaining invaluable practical experience in a leading planning and development consultancy. 

Apprentices will work as an integral part of our planning teams, providing support to colleagues across a range of projects, including commercial, residential and mixed-use schemes. We act for a number of high profile clients, including some of the country’s major land promoters, housebuilders, commercial and leisure operators. You will be involved in exciting projects with early responsibility and client contact.

The ideal Apprentice will have a strong academic record and will hold a Bachelor’s degree (2.1 or above) in Planning or a related subject (Social Sciences, Geography or similar). Some work experience within a planning context is desirable but not essential. Most important is an energy and commitment to learn, a high level of accuracy and good interpersonal skills. We can consider applicants from other backgrounds who have relevant professional experience or qualifications.
