BUILDING CONTROL SURVEYOR/ SENIOR BUILDING CONTROL SURVEYOR

 Salary £34,788 - £41,675 per annum  (depending on experience)

We are looking for self-motivated, enthusiastic Surveyor/Senior Surveyor who is committed to delivering a first-class customer service in a competitive environment.

Uttlesford District Council Building Control deal with a wide range of applications from an international airport to listed building extensions. This will give the successful applicant a wide variety, as well as, depth of experience.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential, along with the ability and confidence to provide advice and guidance to customers and build good working relationships with agents, architects and builders. As we have a fully electronic application and plan-checking processes good IT skills are necessary.

You must have corporate membership of RICS, CABE or CIOB or be actively working towards a professional qualification with experience in all aspects of building control work. A full driving license and use of a vehicle is also required.
