Exciting times lie ahead for Havant Borough Council. With significant regeneration projects taking shape, and an emerging Local Plan shaping the future of a diverse geographical area, we are looking for talented individuals to bring our plans to life.

An opportunity has arisen in the form of a dedicated Planning Officer role in the Development Management team whose focus is on determining planning applications and responding to pre-application enquiries. We are looking for someone with an understanding of the planning process, or of the development industry, who wishes to use their excellent organisational, negotiation and communication skills to advise, guide and negotiate with applicants on a wide range of development sites.

This opportunity will provide an excellent start or progression to your career in planning by bringing you into contact with a wide variety of development proposals and planning issues in a forward-thinking Borough.
