As an experienced planning professional, you will enjoy being part of a leading planning local authority that has exciting and challenging applications for large scale developments coming forward in the next 12 – 18 months.

As a Senior Planning Officer, you will:

  • Have a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience within a Local Planning Authority within a development management role working on major applications
  • Be qualified with a town planning or relevant degree
  • Mentor junior members of the newly expanded team
  • Support our Development Management Team Leader
  • Lead and Implement the provision of a fair, efficient and quality Planning Service
  • Have in-depth knowledge of legislation and an ability to explain it to a variety of stakeholders
