Planning Enforcement Officer
Our client based in the North West of England urgently requires a Planning Enforcement Officer to join them for a contract role. This is a customer-focused role and you will assist in the timely and appropriate conclusion of planning enforcement cases, both new and historic. You will be responsible for providing expert technical advice at every stage of an enforcement case. On a daily basis you will be completing reports on enforcement investigations, carrying out site visits and interviews where required, and representing the Council at committee meetings.
Recent work experience in the field is essential and your knowledge of current planning legislation and guidelines will need to be fully up to date. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with a wide range of stakeholders on a daily basis to convey complex, detailed information in a clear, concise format.
This role will initially be offered for 3 months though it is expected to be extended beyond this date and the rate offered will be between £18-£25/hr umbrella depending on your expeirence. Please get in touch for more details, a job spec is available.
