The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is growing a team of exceptional individuals to deliver our innovative Spatial Development Strategy, the only one outside of London. This is an exciting time for us, having successfully negotiated and secured a Devolution Agreement with Government and elected the City Region’s first ever Metro Mayor.

This is a great opportunity to work on a pioneering sub-regional spatial plan which will shape future development throughout the Liverpool City Region, with core goals of economic inclusion, social value, addressing health inequalities and meeting the challenge of climate change following the Combined Authority’s recently declared Climate Emergency.

The successful candidate who is a team player, will be able to see the opportunities to add value and maximise the impact of forward thinking plan making, building on a track record of delivering sound, evidence based planning policy. We are seeking candidates who can work collaboratively, are ambitious, who offer fresh ideas, and who can demonstrate genuine commitment to progressive place making with a determination to deliver for the people of the Liverpool City Region.
