City of Wolverhampton Council is recruiting two Regeneration Managers to support the delivery of the regeneration revolution happening in the city. The postholders will join our City Development team who lead on physical development projects across the city’s regeneration priority areas which currently comprise the city centre, Bilston and i54.

The post-holder will lead on developing large-scale strategies, partnerships and development work for bringing forward the major intervention programmes and projects where the Council has landholdings and present these opportunities to investors. This will involve creating market confidence, undertaking feasibility assessments, commissioning and managing consultant support and the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary teams of external partners, stakeholders and consultants to deliver the objectives of the regeneration programme. It will involve a programme management role and co­ordination of the programme team. The postholder will be commercially astute and have a good understanding of the development industry and property market.

Successful candidates will be educated to degree level with relevant professional qualification e.g. MRTPI, MRICS plus at least 5 years relevant professional experience.
